Dr. Rick Stachel is a Principal Investigator at Echo Healthcare. In addition, Rick dedicates his time at Gannon University as an assistant professor in both healthcare management, and business studies. Despite the many hats that Dr. Rick Stachel wears at Gannon University, he was an enormous part of putting together Pittsburgh’s First Annual Digital Therapeutics Forum! Echo would like to thank Dr. Stachel for all of his hard work, and incredible knowledge that helped to make this year’s forum such a success!
Work Background
Before Dr. Stachel settled into Gannon University and became one of Echo’s right-hand men, he finished his education at Duquesne University with a Bachelor’s Degree in journalism, an MBA in International Business from Point Park University, and a D.Sc in Information Systems and Communications from Robert Morris University. Dr. Stachel began his career at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he stayed for 7 years before moving on to work for Philips Home Healthcare, and then transferring to the Sleep and Respiratory Care sector of Philips, and eventually landing at Gannon University, where he has been for 4 years now. Rick has been a research fellow at Echo Healthcare since 2018.
