Startup Showcase: Culturora

Jody Madala is Co-Founder & CEO of Culturora, a Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh-based startup that is helping companies strengthen culture using employee connections. Prior to leading the team at Culturora, Jody was a Senior Product Manager at UPMC Enterprises driving new product development, evaluating the healthcare start-up market for new investment opportunities, and helping to oversee UPMC Enterprises’ venture fund investments. Jody has also spent over eighteen years in New York City working as a sell-side healthcare analyst at Jefferies, at Citi investment banking, and as a rating agency analyst for FitchRatings. For her work as a credit analyst, Jody was named to Institutional Investors’ All America Fixed-Income Team in multiple years.

 Jody is a CFA charterholder and obtained her Master’s in Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business, her Master’s in Public Administration from New York University, and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biophysics from Johns Hopkins University.  She is co-president of the CFA Society Pittsburgh and servers on the Networking Committee of the Pittsburgh HR Association.
