Michael Li is a Managing Director at BofA Securities. He heads the Mortgage Quant Group and the Cross Asset Strats Group which are part of the Global Markets organization. He also leads the Innovation Incubator for the Global Quant Group and serves as a member in a number of innovation councils across the bank.

Michael earned a Master’s degree in Computational Finance from the Carnegie Mellon University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University in Beijing.

Shawn Malhotra is the Head of Engineering at Thomson Reuters. Shawn joined Thomson Reuters in March of 2017 to lead the new Toronto Technology Centre. He also served as the Global Head of Open Platform & Eikon as part of the Financial & Risk organization. After the divestiture of the Financial & Risk business, Shawn assumed a role leading technology for the newly formed Corporates Customer Segment in September of 2018. In September of 2020, he was appointed the Head of Engineering for Thomson Reuters. In this role he leads the company’s global Product Engineering teams, delivering solutions in the Legal Professionals, Tax Professionals, and Corporates Customer segments. Previously, Shawn spent 12 years at Intel (formerly Altera), where he most recently served as a Director of software development within the Programmable Solutions Group and Site Director for the Toronto Technology Centre, which was home to 200 software engineers. During this time, Shawn oversaw the site through Intel’s $17B acquisition of Altera. Shawn holds a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo and Master of Engineering from the University of Toronto and holds 4 issued patents.

Laura Ritz is the COO of numo, a PNC Fintech incubator.  Prior to her role at numo, she was Senior Vice President of PNC Enterprise Innovation.  Before PNC, Laura was with Wells Fargo leading enterprise strategic programs and Northrop Grumman where she led satellite business development proposals valued over $100MM.  She currently serves on the Development Committee at Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.  Her past roles in the non-profit community include Chair - Western Pennsylvania March of Dimes, Chair - March of Dimes Nevada and Chair - Southern Nevada Salvation Army. Laura holds a dual bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and Biological Engineering from North Caroline State University and an MBA from Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
