The Corporate Startup Lab looks for interdisciplinary graduate students at CMU to work as paid Innovation Associates. Fellows are placed in teams of two for the course of the semester, working closely with corporate sponsors on a weekly basis.
Matching interdisciplinary graduate students and corporations for Corporate VC and Innovation Associate experience
Launched in Spring 2020, the CSL Fellows is a program with the Corporate Startup Lab that pairs interdisciplinary graduate students with corporate partners in fintech, healthcare, and industrial innovation. As a CSL Fellow, individuals spend ten hours a week working with corporate partners as “corporate venture and innovation associates,” helping with Deal Sourcing, Due Diligence, Market Mapping, Go-To-Market Strategy, and Portfolio Strategy. It is a paid fellowship that spans a semester of work.

How it works
The Corporate Startup Lab is accepting applications to be considered for the Fall 2024 cohort. Applications will close at 11:59pmEST on August 1, 2024. Once your application has been submitted, you will receive an email confirming receipt.

Please note that due to the high volume of applications and the specificity of each project, not all students will receive interviews.
You will be notified whether or not you will be interviewed by August 2, 2024 and interviews will take place the weeks of August 5 and August 12, 2024.
